This YouTube Comment Stopped Me in My Tracks.

✨ Songwriting: Soul vs. Hacks

Hey friends,

This week’s video is a little different. Instead of diving into tools or techniques, I’m responding to a powerful YouTube comment that made me stop and reflect.

Someone wrote: “Your content doesn’t resonate with me, but songwriting should come from the soul… not commodified techniques.”

That hit me. Hard.

Because it forced me to ask myself (and now I’m asking you): Why do we create?

In the video, I open up about:

  • Why I really started my YouTube channel.

  • The legacy I want to leave for my kids.

  • Why songwriting has to come from the heart, not from “hacks.”

If you’ve ever felt tension between being authentic and “playing the game,” I think you’ll connect with this one.

As always, thank you for being part of this journey.
Stay creative. Stay human.

Keep writing, stay creative, and stay human,
