From Tragedy to Triumph: The Story Behind "Paradise in Peace"
✨ Pt. 1 of my interview with Bryan Hopkins
Hey everyone,
Imagine you've lost someone who meant everything to you, and the world expects you to just... keep going. In my interview with Bryan Hopkins, he shows us something different. Through his heart, passion, and gift for songwriting Bryan teaches us how to turn that loss into something the world desperately needs to hear.
This is HIS story, and it's a reminder of you why we create in the first place.

Bryan Hopkins & Ben Carey of Elvis Monroe.
The Fight That Changed Everything
Bryan’s younger brother Cody was given three months to live. Terminal illness. Game over. But he refuse to accept it.
He didn't just refuse - he went to war. Bryan, his family, and a community of supporters crowdfunded campaigns to help Cody, $26,000 raised. Multiple stem cell treatments. Cody’s three months turned into 5 years and 3 months, defying the impossible, love refusing to surrender.
The Sacred Promise
December 2024. Bryan's preparing for a show on the former Route 91 grounds in Las Vegas - the first concert there since the tragic shooting. The phone rings. Cody's hospitalized. He's not coming home.
In their final conversation, Cody makes an extraordinary request:
"You're going to go back and do the show on those grounds. You're going solo Bryan Hopkins and you need to do this for you and you need to do this for me." -Cody Hopkins
Bryan honored that promise. Despite his heartbreak, he flew back to Vegas and delivered everything he had on those sacred grounds.
Cody passed peacefully on December 15th, 2024, after waiting for his big brother's return.
The Download
Five weeks later, Bryan had a dream. Cody told him, "I got you."
Three days later, the floodgates opened. Calls about major shows. Connections with industry legends. Collaborations that seemed impossible. And then came "Paradise in Peace."
Bryan describes it as being "downloaded" from Cody during a three-day water fast:
"It was like I downloaded it from him. He just gifted it through me."
The song releases October 10th - Bryan's gift to the memory of Cody, to their family, and to anyone who's ever experienced loss.

Your Story is Waiting
Here's what Bryan's journey teaches us: Your greatest creative breakthroughs don't come from comfort zones. They come from the depths. From the places that break you open and force you to find something you didn't know was there.
YOU have something the world needs to hear. Something born from YOUR experiences, YOUR pain, YOUR triumphs. No one else can tell it the way you can.
Watch Bryan tell his complete story in our full interview - because this is just the surface. There's so much more treasure waiting in the depths of his journey.
